SAVI Transition Incubator
SAVI is here to help you envision and act on your ideal life post-separation. We support you in identifying and focusing on your ultimate goal and work with you to develop tactics and an actionable plan to get you there.
As a free military transition assistance program for Veterans, a SAVI Transition focuses on more than just a job, Veterans’ benefits, and family. Working backward from your goal, we help you craft a comprehensive plan that puts your needs and desires first. We know that feedback about how to live your life after the military comes from many sources — spouses, family members, mentors, military leaders, and more. But the most crucial source of feedback will always be you.
Perhaps most important, SAVI provides resources that can help you track your progress — financial, emotional, physical, and mental — to ensure that you stay on the path toward building a fulfilling life post-separation.
Student
Veteran Students in the SAVI Transition Incubator program are provided with one-on-one mentorship and guidance. This is done over twelve months as you identify your educational goals and progress into our programs.
With your SAVI mentor, you will work through your educational goals to identify a program that’s best for you. Once your program is identified, you’ll receive guidance on the application process, qualifying for financial aid, determining your eligibility for VA benefits (and how to utilize them), and tips and tricks on remaining successful throughout your studies.
Employment
Veteran job seekers in the SAVI Transition Incubator program are provided with one-on-one mentorship and guidance. This is done over twelve months as they identify their professional post-military goals.
With your SAVI mentor, you will work through your goals to find the career and location that fit best with your whole-life vision after transitioning out of the military. Once your vision is identified, your mentor will work with you on locating Veteran and industry-specific resources to assist you in finding a career post-transition.
Your SAVI Mentor will assist in growing your professional network, and answer any questions you may have about post-military employment. They are also able to work with our partner organizations to provide resume creation, LinkedIn profile updates, preparing for interviews and salary negotiations, and more.
Entrepreneurship
Veteran entrepreneurs in the SAVI Transition Incubator program are provided one-on-one mentorship and guidance. This is done over twelve months as they identify their entrepreneurial passions and goals for their post-military life.
With your SAVI mentor, you will work through the challenges you may face as a new entrepreneur. From identifying your passion and business idea to location, funding, and learning to launch a business, your SAVI mentor is there for you every step of the way. Our mentors are entrepreneurs themselves and can provide insider-insight into this new and exciting chapter of your life.
Retirement
SAVI strives to provide you with information on the unique financial benefits available to Veteran retirees, helping you to understand what you qualify for, what the entitlements mean, and how they will impact your family, future, and other post-retirement options.
