Strategic Alliance Veteran Integration (SAVI) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through savivets.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us. We collect the information you choose to provide when you fill out a form on our site, make a donation, sign up for email, or contact us. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone number, city and state, whether you are a Veteran, your branch of service, your separation date, whether you are 21 or older (for events held at venues that serve alcohol), your resume, and anything you write in a message.

Donations. Donations are processed by Stripe. SAVI receives your name, email, gift amount, and billing details needed for receipts, but we never see or store your full card or bank account number.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar tools to understand how visitors use the site and to measure whether our Google ads lead to gifts and sign-ups. These tools collect information such as your browser type, the pages you visit, and how you arrived at our site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How we use your information. We use it to respond to you, provide coaching and programs, process and acknowledge donations, plan events, match volunteers with projects, send email you've signed up for, and improve our website.

How we share it. SAVI does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our work, such as payment processing (Stripe), email (Constant Contact), forms and scheduling (Jotform, Airtable, Calendly), our donor and program records (Salesforce), and website analytics and advertising measurement (Google). These providers may use your information only to provide their services to SAVI. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Your choices. You can unsubscribe from SAVI email at any time with the link at the bottom of every message. To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email info@savivets.org.

Children. Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Other sites. Our site links to other websites, including VA.gov and our community site, community.savivets.org. Their privacy practices are their own.

Changes to this policy. If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
